We offer several options and we will work with you to find out which approach best fits your goals and lifestyle. Additionally, we offer body scanning using the Styku. This is a 3D body scanner which takes incredibly accurate images to precisely predict body composition (%body fat, lean muscle mass, etc). This is important because you may be building muscle while losing fat which may mean you are not “losing weight” on a traditional scale. Styku also allows us to place side by side images next to each other to measure each body part (waist, thighs, arms, neck, etc).

We offer oral and injectable medications that have been proven to help you lose weight quickly and safely. Some of the medications are geared toward curbing appetite while others help more with binge/compulsive eating. The most popular treatments we offer for weight loss include diet and lifestyle coaching, the Orbera balloon, and body scanning with Styku. HOW IT WORKS
The initial visit can be in person or via telemedicine. We will start with a thorough history which will give us an understanding of you goals. We will also run in depth labs to ensure your excess weight is not associated to any medical condition such as a problem with your thyroid. Treatment can begin as soon as we decide which treatment method will work best for you. Diet and lifestyle coaching is done right in our office and medications are prescribed at the same time if needed. If we decide on the Orbera balloon we can schedule you to have the device placed right away. The procedure takes minutes and benefits begin as soon as the balloon is in place.

What procedures and treatments do you offer?
Orbera balloon: All the benefits of weight loss surgery, without the surgery. A saline filled balloon is placed in your stomach, taking up the empty space. This helps you lose weight fast, without feeling hungry.
Body scanning with Styku is quick and easy. You can wear underwear or tight fitting clothes when you stand on the rotating scale. While rotating, a high quality image is taken and used to make highly accurate predictions of your body composition, without the risks of radiation (DEXA) or having to get into a pool like other body composition analyses.
